Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor-Joy was born on 16 April 1996, in Miami Florida. Dennis Alan Taylor was a former Banker. Jennifer Marina Joy worked as a psychotherapist. His father was Argentine, of Scottish-English heritage. Her mother's ancestral lineage is Spanish and English. Taylor-Joy is the youngest of five children. Four were born to Taylor's father's previous marriage. The family lived in Buenos Aires until she was six, after which they moved to the Victoria region in London. According to Taylor-Joy, the relocation was difficult and she was unable to study English with the intention of moving back to Argentina. Hill House was the new school she had to attend after she left Northlands. Then she attended Queen's Gate School in London, where she took ballet classes as well as participated in the drama department. After 16 she quit school in order to pursue acting as a career. Since her early years, Taylor-Joy knew that she wanted to work as an actress. her goals were realized after she was offered the opportunity to model Sarah Doukas the founder of Storm Management.
