Sheryl-Underwood

Sheryl Underwood was born in Arkansas, and was raised in the state. She went on to become a TV host on the talk show daytime The Talk. She was born and lived in Little Rock. Sheryl comes from a troubled family. She spent most of her childhood taking care of her sister Frankie who suffered from an illness called polio. As a teenager, she experienced a difficult relationship to her maternal grandmother. Sheryl says that at one point she cut her father's hair due to his proximity. Sheryl when she graduated from college was drafted into the military. But her passion was comedy. In 1989, she became the first woman to make the finals in the Miller Lite Comedy Search contest. She started her TV career after becoming regularly performing at The HBO Comedy Show Def Comedy Jam in 1992. She hosted the show in 2000. the show Oh Drama! Seit 2011, she is co-hosting the talk show. She has played in fictional series such as Bulworth Nikki, Beauty Shop and others.
