Sheryl underwood is a stand-up comedian, host of a television show, and performer from the United States. She is best known for her part as the Talk's daytime co-host. Born in Arkansas she was raised in Little Rock and Atwater. Sheryl is a member of a troubled family. Sheryl was fostered by her sister Frankie. Frankie had suffered from the disease of Polio. When she was a kid, her relationship with mother was rocky. Sheryl alleges that, at one point when her mother stabbed her father when he became too intimate with her. Sheryl was a soldier after she graduated from college. However her interest lay in comedy. She was the first female winner of the contest Miller Lite Comedy Search held in 1989. She began her TV work in 1992 by being a regular actor on HBO's comedy program Def Comedy Jam. She was a TV host in the year 2000 on Oh Drama! In the past, she has been host of The Talk since 2011. Also, she's been the fictional character in TV programs like Bulworth Nicki as well as Beauty Shop.
