Lucy Liu (born Lucy Liu) is an American actor, voice actress, director producer and vocalist. She's a beautiful, intelligent actress who inspires numerous Asian actors to succeed in Hollywood. Following a string of early appearances in some popular series her fame was boosted when she joined the cast of the legal comedy series Ally McBeal where she played the malicious Ling Woo. After a sudden surge in fame, the actress was offered roles on major screens like Shanghai Noon and Charlie's Angels. The film Kill Bill Volume 1, Quentin Tarantino, she gave an outstanding performance as Japanese criminal O-Ren Ishii. While she was in the film she was an actress in the flops at the box office such as Rise: Blood Hunter were as well-known. Later, she became an actor in voice in animated films, including Kung Fu Panda. Mia Mason's tiny screen role on Cashmere Mafia did not produce the desired results. Southland's critically-acclaimed police drama, Southland and a recurring role helped Liu re-establish as an established actress. Liu selects her roles with care so that she doesn't get stereotyped in an industry with a lot of competition. Although she is adamant about her heritage but it doesn't mean she has to be in her professional work in the field of art.
