LeBron Raymone James Sr., born the 30th of December, 1984, is an American professional basket ball player who represents the Los Angeles Lakers (NBA). James is known by the name of King James and is considered to be one of the most successful basketball players in history. James has been awarded four NBA championships, four NBA MVP awards Four NBA Finals MVP awards three All-Star MVP awards and two Olympic gold medals. James is the holder of the highest amount of points scored during the postseason, second highest all-time score, and the 7th highest number of career assists. James has been named an NBA All-Star 18 times to the All-NBA Team a record 18 times and for be named to the NBA All-Defensive First Team five times. James was the third player to participate in NBA Finals. Eight of those were consecutive from 2011 to 2018. James made his way onto the NBA 75th Anniversary Team in 2021. In 2022, he became one of the few NBA player to reach 10,000 points in his career. James was a basketball player at St. Vincent St. Mary High in Akron Ohio, where he grew up. The national media praised James as a possible NBA superstar. He was a prep-to pro and selected with the top selection from the Cleveland Cavaliers in the NBA Draft in 2003. He was named as the NBA most promising rookie in the 2004. Soon he became one of the best athletes of the NBA and was awarded both the NBA MVP Award both 2009 and 2010. James, who was unable to win the championship in Cleveland in 2010, was released as a free agent and signed with in the Miami Heat. This was made clear in The Decision. It is one of the most controversial decisions taken by a free agent in sports the history of sports.
