Harry Edward Styles - also known as Harry Styles - is a British musician as well as a composer. Harry Styles has been recognized for his compositions to The One Direction band. He is the son of Des Styles (father) and Anne Cox, Harry Styles was born on January 1, 1994, in Holmes Chapel. Harry Styles went to the Holmes Chapel Comprehensive school, along with three of his classmates, formed a musical band called White Eskimo. The band's outstanding performances enabled them to take home the Battle of Bands 2009. Despite having an interest in music the man also had a dream of becoming a lawyer or an physiotherapist. In order to provide for the needs of his children, he took some time at a baker's shop. In the year 2010, Harry Styles presented audition for The X Factor where he did the track Is not She Lovely by Stevie Wonder and was selected. This is why his band was split. Nicole Scherzinger, the jury participant of The X Factor suggested Harry Styles to join the band One Direction with Liam Payne Zayn Mlik Niall Horan Louis Tomlinson and Liam Payne. Simon Cowell sponsored this five-person group. They were first created in the year 2010. The group performed hits such as My Life Would Suffer Without You which was written by Kelly Clarkson, and Total Eclipse of the Heart, by Bonnie Tyler during the competition. They were one of the candidates for the award. The group was placed in third position just behind Rebecca Ferguson and Matt Cardle which won. Harry Styles' group didn't win, but Cowell did pay 2 million pounds to One Direction for them to make a deal with Syco.
