Amber Benson bio
Amber Benson is an American actress, director, and producer. Her most famous role is playing Tara Maclay from the TV show Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Benson is also the director of her own films Chance, Lovers Liars & Lunatics and starred as the main actress in these films. In addition, she appeared in the movie Kiss the Bride. Benson was the youngest child born to Edward Benson and Diane Benson. Benson was born in Birmingham in Alabama, on the 8th of January 1977. Danielle Benson is her sibling and a talented artist. Benson was brought up in a Reform Synagogue by the Reform Jewish mother and Jewish father. After Buffy was cancelled, Benson has been in movies like The Killing Jar and on shows like Morganville The Series. While behind the lens Benson also used her talents as a writer to write the Ghosts of Albion television series. In 2010, she also directed Drones. Buffy estimates that at least 1800 Slayers are in existence, and 500 of them are members of the Scooby Gang. Potentials now awaken as Slayers as they mature to a suitable level such as the Slayer Soledad was awakened on her sixteenth birthday. Ruth Connell is set to play Rowena for the season 10 of Supernatural. She's a mysterious witch from the old school.
